Jason was diagnosed with Aspergers at the age of 42.
After completing his Social Work Degree he has worked in accommodation services, Vietnam Veterans and Family Counselling Service. He has also worked in a Youth Health role at Westbury Community Health Centre, a Carer Service for family and friends of a person with mental health issues, and a Support Worker.
Jason’s roles at Autism Tasmania include delivering training to families and various organisations, autism advisory services, peer support coordination, and acting as a mentor for our Autistic Consultants.
His passion is to educate families, teachers and organisations so that everyone can support the Autistic community to build their capacity and live the best possible lives that they can.
