Laura works as a teacher at the Southern Support School, specialising in Autism support, she also holds an MEd Autism (children).
She is passionate about shaping the education system to best meet the needs of people on the autism spectrum, as well as supporting them beyond compulsory education.
Laura brings her academic knowledge and skills in education to the Board and enjoys working to achieve individualised and respectful supports for the autism community.
Originally hailing from England, Laura has now lived in Tasmania for 10 years and has two young sons. She has served on the Autism Tasmania Board since 2019.
